Server Rules

By joining GangWarsRP, you agree to follow all server rules listed below. These rules exist to provide a fair, enjoyable, and balanced roleplay experience for every player.

Failure to follow these rules may result in warnings, demotions, kicks, temporary bans, or permanent bans at the discretion of the Administration Team, depending on the severity and frequency of the violation.

If you disagree with an administrative decision, do not argue in-game. Instead, submit an appeal through the appropriate channels with any supporting evidence.

GangWarsRP Administration reserves the right to interpret and enforce these rules as necessary to maintain a fair and enjoyable environment for all players.

If a situation is not specifically covered by these rules, players are expected to use common sense. Administration Staff may take action against behavior that clearly violates the spirit of fair gameplay, even if it is not explicitly listed.

Exploiting bugs, glitches, or unintended game mechanics is strictly prohibited. Players must report any discovered exploits to the Administration Team.

Players may not intentionally evade punishments through disconnecting, changing Steam accounts, alternate accounts, or any other method.

Cheating, scripting, macros, third-party software, or any modification that provides an unfair gameplay advantage is strictly prohibited.

2.1

Excessive flaming/harassment in chat or voice communications is not allowed. If you are asked to stop, you must stop. An admin may determine what is considered excessive based on the situation.

Any form of racism, sexism, or discrimination is not tolerated in chat or voice communications.

Disrespect toward the administration team is not allowed.

Leaking or threatening to leak any personal information of a player or anyone else is not tolerated. (e.g. DOX threats)

Threatening to DDOS, hack, RAT, or otherwise compromise another player is an instant permanent ban.

The /advert command may only be used for buying, selling, looking for a party, or similar purposes.

Advertising other communities, servers, Discords, websites, or services without Administration approval is prohibited.

Mic spam, excessive noise, soundboards intended to disrupt gameplay, or voice changers used to annoy other players are prohibited.

3.1

During a raid, raiders may use a maximum of 1 ramp total between all raiders. The ramp may not be bulletproof and may not have a material applied. The ramp can only be placed before the raid begins.

Props may only be used for the purpose of constructing structures.

Prop blocking is not allowed anywhere. This includes blocking off areas of the map from other players.

Forcefully impacting another player with a prop, whether damage is inflicted or not, is not allowed. This includes impacting yourself.

Only Bankers may build inside the Bank.

Props may not intentionally block roads, sidewalks, NPCs, spawn areas, public access points, or any important map location.

You must be able to interact with at least one exterior door of a building. Do not block outside doors.

You may not base in a building unless you own it. (Bank is the exception.)

Bases may not require extensive crawlspaces for access. A maximum of three separate 1x1 PHX-sized crawlspaces is allowed.

A maximum of three fading doors may be used to gain access to a base. The base is defined as the area where contraband is stored. A maximum of two keypads may be used per fading door: one on each side.

Trap bases are not allowed. Players must be able to leave through the same route they entered.

Your base must have at least one clearly visible entrance.

Bases must be touching the ground. Floating bases must use supports or pillars that connect to the ground.

A maximum of 150 props may be used in base construction. (This includes slam walls)

Base defenders and attackers must have their entire head and torso visible. Only approved one-way props may be used for one-way defenses.

You may not force raiders to use their ramp to gain access to your base. If your base is on a roof, there must be a route available without requiring the raider's ramp.

Keypads may not be used to obstruct doorways.

All members of a base must be co-owners or owners on the doors. A base may not exceed 8 players. (Bank is the exception.)

Administrative Staff reserve the right to remove, modify, or request changes to any base that provides an unfair gameplay advantage or negatively impacts gameplay, even if the design is not specifically addressed within these rules.

Anyone carrying a plutonium rod may be killed on sight. They may defend themselves if attacked.

Being the terrorist job makes you KOS (this does not mean if you are on the Terrorist job you can attack anyone at any time though you can defend)

Bankers may not raid the bank under any circumstances. They may not assist a bank raid in any way, including unlocking doors.

Police Officers may only kill wanted players if it is in pursuit of protection of life.

Police Officers may not assist in the release of arrested players. This includes opening Police Department doors, providing equipment, or otherwise assisting an escape.

Police Officers may not repeatedly arrest the same player without a valid reason or intentionally use arrests to harass another player.

6.1

You may open fading doors during a raid. Keep in mind that the cooldown may allow raiders to enter.

You may not engage in combat and then retreat into a base and close a fading door behind you when not in a raid.

You may raid and base with members of other gangs as long as the total number of players does not exceed 8 and all members are owners on the doors.

You may not initiate a raid without officially declaring it using F8 on the door. Entering the property before declaring a raid is not allowed. (Bank is the exception)

You may not start a raid without intending to raid. After declaring a raid with F8, you must attempt the raid within 2 minutes.

Attempting to abuse the raid system for Raid Rewards is not allowed. (Example: Making a base for friend to raid and get XP, etc)

Killing a player who is actively capturing your territory is allowed.

Killing a player after they attack you is allowed if their nameplate is red (8% damage indicator), regardless of whether it was crossfire.

You may not intentionally run in front of players who are already in combat to provoke them into attacking you.

Killing a player attempting to raid the bank while you have a deposit is allowed.

If you are capturing an enemy territory pole, you may kill the owner if they are within visual sight of the pole.

Valid reasons to engage another player include, but are not limited to:

Participating in an active raid.
Defending yourself or another player from an immediate threat.
Defending your base or property during an active raid.
Defending the Bank or Police Department while performing your profession.
Defending or transporting Terrorist Rods.
Responding to a wanted player in the pursuit of protection of life as a Police Officer.
Retaliating against a player who has successfully pickpocketed you. Members of the victim's gang may also assist.
Having bug-bait thrown at you.

Players may not use glitches, c-jumps, crouch spam, exploits, anti-AFK tools, modifications, scripts, resources, hooks, malicious sniffers, or cheats while connected to the server. Examples include aimbots and ESP.

Gangs may not team up to effectively create a larger gang and bypass gang limits. However, two rival gangs fighting the same gang is allowed, as each gang may choose to beg. This exception does not apply to raids.
